As tax and financial issues become more complex, Adams Brown continues to grow to keep up with the changes and better serve its local communities.

Rising 24 spots, the firm is now the 120th largest CPA firm in the United States according to INSIDE Public Accounting’s (IPA) annual ranking.

This is the eighth consecutive year Adams Brown has been recognized on the list as a top 200 firm. In the past two years alone, the firm moved up more than 40 spots as its revenue increased as a result of organic growth and strategic acquisition.

“We regularly hear that businesses have either outgrown their CPA firm or feel like their firm is now too big for them as a result of consolidation happening in the accounting industry nationwide,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing principal. “Our focus remains with these small- and medium-sized businesses.”

Growth can sometimes be a balancing act, and Adams Brown is using the same focus on its own growth as it does with area businesses from Main Street to the middle market.

“As businesses face new obstacles like cybersecurity threats, troubles hiring qualified financial staff and establishing 401k plans to help recruit and retain talent, we’re growing to provide the services they need through the entire business cycle,” Staats said.
