For Nikki Stockham, working at Adams Brown does not always mean walking into an office each morning.

Nikki lives in Missouri and works remotely, staying connected with her team and colleagues from home. Her workday may look different from someone based in Overland Park, Little Rock or one of our other office locations, but the goal is the same: do good work and stay connected to the people around her.

At Adams Brown, flexibility is not a rare exception. Out of approximately 400 employees, about 130 people work in a hybrid or remote arrangement. That means remote team members are part of the everyday rhythm of the firm.

What Remote Work Looks Like At Adams Brown

For some team members, flexibility means fewer hours on the road. For others, it means staying rooted in their community, being closer to family or finding a better rhythm between work and life. In this Day in the Life video, Nikki gives a look at what remote work can look like at Adams Brown.

Staying Connected from Anywhere

Being remote does not mean working alone.

Nikki is part of a larger team that works across offices, cities and states. The firm has built habits around virtual collaboration, regular communication and keeping people involved whether they are across the hall or across state lines.

That connection matters, especially for people who want the benefits of remote work without losing the support of a team.
