Nikolous Rempe started running competitively at a young age. Born and raised in McPherson, his love of the sport began when he ran in road races alongside his father. This passion followed him throughout high school and college. He attended Fort Hays State University, where he ran both cross country and track. After graduating college, he found himself missing the team aspect and competitive nature of the sport. He dreamed of passing his passion onto other athletes. This is what drew him to coaching the cross country and track teams at a local high school.

Nikolous believes that coaching shows the importance of putting in hard work to achieve goals, a common theme that overlaps in his work with clients in the manufacturing industry. Clients frequently ask him how his teams are doing or will ask about the team during their appointments. He’s always excited to share updates about how the students are doing and share their accomplishments with his clients.

An environment where teammates can grow both personally and professionally

When asked how the firm supports him, Nikolous says, “Adams Brown has provided me the opportunity to grow my career at my preferred pace, while also providing the training and support to be successful. I find support in both my leadership team and my coworkers. The firm has also provided flexibility in my work schedule, including the ability to flex hours to be available for practices and meets for my team. I can start my work day early or finish up work after my coaching duties, which allows me to be there to fully support my team. My managers have always been supportive of my work-life balance and continue to allow me to pursue my coaching career.”
