After a truly unpredictable year for businesses and individuals across the country, Adams Brown was recognized as number 11 on Accounting Today’s Fastest Growing Firms list. The firm was also named a Regional Leader in the Midwest for the third straight year.

The average accounting and consulting firm experienced 8% growth, down from 15% the year prior, according to the report by a leading accounting industry publication. Adams Brown’s 17.1% growth rate can be attributed to a recent merger with M&L CPAs Chartered in Wichita in January of 2020 and the acquisition of the Jonesboro office of EGP, PLLC in June. In addition, the firm pivoted to provide new consulting services to business owners to help them maximize stimulus programs available to them, which contributed to organic growth.

“It’s important to us that we provide businesses and individuals with the help they need to be successful,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner.  “We continually keep our finger on the pulse of what’s happening and work to provide help where it’s needed, whether that be with the PPP loan program, cash flow or even by strengthening core tax, accounting and audit services in our communities.”

Adams Brown is one of 27 firms included as regional leaders in a category that includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota.
