How I help . . .

There is nothing more rewarding than helping a client achieve their goals. Maybe its a contractor who had a terrific year that wants to minimize their tax liability while maintaining their bonding capacity; a business owner who has created significant wealth for his family and wants to avoid paying estate taxes; or an entrepreneur who wants to build wealth by investing in real estate. It all starts by listening to what the client wants to accomplish and then using experience and creativity to help them develop a plan and then carry out the plan.

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family, where I saw first hand the hard work and effort it takes to start and grow a business. I strive to give that same effort for clients as their tax and business advisor.

"I provide tax and strategic business consulting services to clients in the construction and real estate industries to help them build and retain their wealth."

Q&A with Tim

What does above+beyond mean to you?
Going above + beyond means taking a holistic approach to serving clients. It's not just about preparing a tax return or auditing financial statements. It's about listening to clients' goals and finding ways to help them achieve those goals and add value in the services we provide.
What activity plays an important part in your life?
Traveling with my kids is something I really enjoy. Not traveling to spend a week at the beach (although I wouldn't turn that down), but traveling to new places that we've never been before. Going on road trips and visiting places of historical significance never gets old.
What is your favorite restaurant and why?
I can't go to Kansas City without eating at The Cheesecake Factory. Their spicy cashew chicken can't be beat...and the cheesecake is not bad either.
What is your favorite music?
I like all kinds of music. I grew up in the '80s and as a kid I spent a lot of time with my older brothers working on the farm and they listened to '50s, '60s & '70s music so I never got hung up on one genre. Country, rock...great music is great music.
What do you enjoy most about your work at Adams Brown?
I am fortunate to work with very successful clients and working with them provides great satisfaction. Also, I have so many great team members at Adams Brown that I enjoy working with.
