How I help . . .

As a principal of audit and attestation services, my primary job is to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards of reporting.  But beyond that, my focus is to help clients anticipate and adapt to constant industry changes.

For example – as Property and Casualty insurance clients move to cloud-based underwriting, their financial reporting systems are unable to adapt. I design and introduce insurance clients to an integrated statutory financial reporting package built on the Sage/Intacct platform.

Q&A with Skyler

Continuously expanding knowledge and skills, in order to be "the answer" for others.
What does being a strategic ally mean to you?
A strategic ally puts the success of others first and helps them reach their goals.
What type of books do you read?
I enjoy reading biographies and autobiographies, as well as other non-fiction books.
What is your favorite/least favorite word and why?
My least favorite word or phrase is “it is what it is.” The current state of a problem does not excuse us from working to fix it. Anything can be accomplished with positivity and effort.
What is your passion outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, learning new things, and watching/attending sporting events (K-State, the Royals and the Chiefs). I’ll even watch the Hawks with my wife on occasion.
