How I help . . .

Accounting and taxes are two things that most people are confused and intimidated by. One of my favorite things about my job is the ability to educate clients. My goal is to teach them to understand the basics and know that they have a trusted advisor to answer the hard questions. Becoming part of the discussion for big decisions brings me satisfaction.

Small businesses, family farms and even local governments are just some of the clients I have been able to learn the ins and outs of and develop relationships with. Working with these varied groups helped me understand how important agriculture is in our area and drove me to specialize in helping farmers and ranchers be successful.

What does above + beyond mean to you?

Above + beyond to me describes the level of effort we put into things. You don't just get an answer. We spend the time to think through the unique situation and give quality advice.

What does being a strategic ally mean to you?

A strategic ally is part of the team. Our knowledge is trusted and valued.

What activity plays an important part in your life?

My kids and husband are all very active in sports and hobbies. Balancing work with being involved in all of these if very important to me.

What makes you unique?

I enjoy explaining processes and educating people on the why of things. I've found in life it is easier to teach people and give them the tools to take on more of the load than to continue to do things yourself forever.

What do you enjoy most about your work at Adams Brown?

The firm's culture and our office environment are what I enjoy most about Adams Brown. We are people with lives, and the firm understands that. My co-workers are caring people who support each other in work and life.
