I assist clients with navigating the tax implications of the decisions they’re already making. I enjoy taking a consultative approach to tax planning, working with clients throughout the year rather than just showing up each spring with a return. There are instances where our team gets called in after a transaction has already closed, and by then the planning window has passed and we’re left working within decisions that could have been structured more favorably. I like to position clients ahead of that point and understand what’s coming early enough that we can plan for it, not just report on it.
