I have always liked numbers, solving problems and helping others. I like to take messy information and turn it into a neat useable format. I take a hands-on approach to client service, and I care about their successes and struggles.
One particularly satisfying experience I had at Adams Brown was a few years ago, when a client with multiple locations was looking to switch software systems and switch accountants. At the time, their records for each location were kept separately, and only the accountant consolidated the information on an annual basis. The owners of the company had a difficult time knowing how they stood as a company. I successfully worked with the client and the new software company to clean up and combine the records, so that everything was integrated into one system that provided the owners with real-time information.
