How I help . . .

Human Resources became a clear career path for me following an exploratory discussion with my college advisor. From there, my work experience has proven to fulfill my professional objectives which include serving our employees by creating a challenging yet rewarding work environment. One where our employees feel safe to take risks in trying something new, only to find they’ve grown both personally and professionally. I’m passionate about taking care of people and feel Human Resources gives me the platform to coach and guide others so they can meet their goals.

MEET JESS

Q&A with Jess

What does above + beyond mean to you?
Putting others' success before your own because you know we are more successful when we lift each other up.
What does being a strategic ally mean to you?
Playing the role that may be a weaker spot for the client, employee or people manager. Complimenting them so we are better together.
What activity plays an important part in your life?
Self-care. HR is a tough profession. We frequently help others before ourselves. And while that is the reason most are in HR, it can take a toll. I've learned these past couple years that filling your own bucket isn't selfish. It's necessary to continue to care for others.
What are your favorites?
Pizza is my favorite food…I could have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! However, my favorite restaurant is anything Mexican. Margaritas, chips, salsa and guacamole. ‘Nuff said! My favorite music is country, both old and new. It’s good for the soul!
What inspires you?
Working for those who put the team first over their own accolades.
