I assist clients with unlocking the fair market value of their company’s equity (either common shares of stock or another equity position in a private company). I enjoy taking a consultative approach to helping clients make the best choices today to set them up for success tomorrow. There are instances where our team gets called when it is too late in the process and we do damage control. I like to position clients for “in the event of XYZ, here is how your team and our team will work together.”
To that point, there is a lot of pre-liquid wealth that company owners have in their ownership in a private company. At some time in the future, the owner(s) need to convert that into liquid wealth.
