Adams Brown Earns Top Recognition While Staying True to its Roots
Recognition reflects continued growth, expanded services and a commitment to local ownership
Business owners do not need more noise. They need advisors who understand what is changing, what is at stake and how to help them make smart decisions with confidence.
That is why Adams Brown’s latest recognition matters.
Accounting Today has named Adams Brown a 2026 Firm to Watch and Midwest Regional Leader, marking the 5th consecutive year the firm has earned both honors. The annual recognition highlights firms across the country that are gaining momentum and making an impact in their markets.
The recognition reflects a year of steady progress and meaningful investment. The firm increased net U.S. revenue by just over 10 percent, expanded from 12 to 18 offices and grew total personnel from 351 to 388.
That growth was not about getting bigger for the sake of it. It was about building the right capabilities around the needs clients are bringing to the table.
Over the past year, Adams Brown launched Adams Brown Trust Solutions following the acquisition of Heritage Trust. The firm also introduced Private Asset Solutions, a service line designed for clients who need tax, estate and wealth planning working together rather than in separate silos.
Adams Brown also expanded its footprint through the acquisition of Stafford & Westervelt, Chartered, strengthening its presence in Rogers, AR, and Parsons, KS.
“Being named a Firm to Watch and Midwest Regional Leader is meaningful because it reflects how we continue to grow around the needs of our clients,” said Ben Wilson, principal and CEO of Adams Brown. “Business owners want more than a firm that reacts. They want advisors who can help them think ahead, connect the dots and bring practical guidance to the table. Just as important, we remain locally owned and independent, which allows us to stay focused on long-term relationships, continuity and doing what is right for our clients.”
That client-first approach continues to shape Adams Brown’s direction. The firm is investing in services and talent that help business owners address challenges from multiple angles, whether that means tax planning, accounting support, succession planning, wealth strategy, trust services or technology guidance.
As clients face more complexity and faster change, Adams Brown’s focus remains the same: helping them make informed decisions with a clear plan for what comes next.
