Employee Retention Credit – New Orleans Baton Rouge (LA)
Louisiana ERTC Consulting
New Orleans and Baton Rouge businesses have endured many challenges since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, including forced business closures, capacity restrictions, safety regulations, and more. This has resulted in significant financial challenges requiring many to explore the various relief programs offered by the Small Business Administration (SBA). While some have already received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan or an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), other options are available.
Louisiana ERTC Tax Credit 2021
Companies can also take advantage of the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). Recent legislation extended the credit through December 31, 2021, and increased the maximum savings to $28,000 per employee over a four-quarter period. The eligibility criteria were modified to permit those with a 20% reduction in business in a 2021 quarter, when compared against 2019, to participate. Since it is a refundable credit, any amount which exceeds your payroll tax liabilities will be refunded in a check.
