Worthington Joins Adams Brown as Tax Principal
To support a growing firm and manufacturing practice, Adams Brown has added A.J. Worthington as a Principal based in Wichita. He will support the team in various capacities including working with partnerships and corporations and advising clients who will be filing multi-state tax returns. Worthington also has experience with implementing industry specific tax saving strategies, including LIFO inventory, research and development tax credits, cost segregation studies, and state and local investment credits.
Most recently, Worthington worked for fourteen years at a large regional CPA firm. He received his B.S. in Business from Emporia State University in 2006. He stays involved in public accounting as a member of the Kansas Society of CPAs (KSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). To give back the community, he serves as a board member at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Wichita. Currently, he resides in Wichita with his wife Kara and two children.
