Adams Brown Announces New Senior Audit Manager

The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered (Adams Brown) is pleased to announce the addition of Steven Peiffer, CPA, CFE to their professional team.

Peiffer joins Adams Brown as a senior audit manager. He focuses his efforts primarily on serving assurance clients and managing Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) projects. Prior to joining Adams Brown, Peiffer spent nearly 10 years with a large Wichita CPA firm.

“We’re looking forward to having Steven on our team,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of Adams Brown. “His talents and valuable experience will be a great asset to clients and co-workers alike.”

Peiffer attended Kansas State University, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and in 2006 with a Master of Accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kansas Society of CPAs (KSCPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC). Peiffer is an alumnus of the KSCPA’s “20 up to 40” leadership program and a 2013 graduate of McGladrey Alliance Breakthrough Leaders Institute. He is a committee member of Wichita Ducks Unlimited.  Additionally, he serves as the treasurer for the ARC of Sedgwick County.  Peiffer currently resides in Bel Aire, Kansas.
