Adams Brown Principal Named Experienced Leader of the Year
Susan Day, CPA, CGMA, principal at Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chtd. (Adams Brown) has been named the recipient of the 2018 Woman to Watch Experienced Leader award, given by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA). This is the second consecutive year that an Adams Brown leader was selected for the award.

This annual award recognizes one emerging leader and one experienced leader. The Woman to Watch Experienced Leader award recognizes those who have established their roles as leaders in their organizations by advancing to the highest levels of management or ownership and by mentoring those following in their footsteps. Day was recognized at the KSCPA/AICPA 2018 Fun And Loud Laughter (F.A.L.L.) Event Recognizing Nominees & Winners on October 19th in Olathe, KS.
Day joined Adams Brown in 1998. Throughout her tenure with the firm, she has served as a staff accountant through senior manager and currently serves as the firm’s Tax Service Line Leader and WaKeeney office manager. She serves clients in a variety of industries, including retail and service, communications, and agriculture. The scope of her work includes addressing multi-state and international issues. Day graduated summa cum laude from Fort Hays State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She currently resides in WaKeeney with her husband, Dennis, and their three children, Emma, Owen, and Leah.
